and
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 20TH
2:00 P.M. at Faith United Methodist Church

Picture
The public is invited to attend the performance of a Christmas Cantata on Saturday, December 5th, at approximately 3:30 p.m. at First Christian Church. You may come early as part of the Steeple Walk (we are the final church on the tour that day) or to purchase cookies at the United Way's Cookie Walk in our main hallway to raise funds for childhood literacy through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library Program, or just come in time for the free Cantata performance. The combined choirs of First Christian Church and Faith United Methodist Church will present a beautiful Christmas Cantata by Mary McDonald called "Darkness into Light" that features fresh settings of carols along with beautiful new songs that celebrate the Light of Christ. Cheri Harding will be our soloist at this performance that we are hosting. This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the spirit of Christmas as a community. All are warmly welcomed to attend this free Christmas Cantata which lasts 40 minutes at First Christian Church at 1127 Beatty Avenue in Cambridge.

If you miss this performance or wish to enjoy it again, we will perform this Cantata again at Faith United Methodist Church on Sunday, December 20th at 2:00 p.m. when a choir member at Faith UMC will be the soloist.
