FREE COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING DAY DINNER

Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks for the many blessings of our lives, to steep ourselves in gratitude, to remember to love God and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Yet life is not perfect, and sometimes we find ourselves facing challenges that make a holiday like Thanksgiving more difficult.
First Christian Church, with financial help and volunteers from the Guernsey Association of Churches, Scout Troop #520, Byesville VFW, Kiwanis Foundation, and many area churches, civic organizations, businesses, and individuals, continues the J. David Stout Memorial Thanksgiving Community Dinner.
Dinner Chair Amanda Shockley invites you to come enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner at no cost
in the church's Fellowship Hall on Thursday, November 27th, 2025, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Carryout meals are also available.
Those without transportation may call the church to arrange for delivery of a meal
no later than noon on Wednesday, November 26th.
Those who wish to volunteer on Thanksgiving Day or make a donation to help defray the costs
may call the church at 740-432-5923 to see what help may still be needed.
The church phone will not be answered or monitored on Thanksgiving Day.
The church is located at 1127 Beatty Avenue in Cambridge.
